Where Is Hiring Staff Now?
In the News
I have written a list of shops that are open and trading now and any limitations on purchasing to help people with essentials and someone commented that they would like to know what companies are taking on and hiring at the moment. A lot of people in the hospitality and retail industry on zero hour contracts have been laid off indefinitely with no firm re-employment date and little or no financial help so hopefully this list and your comments can help them find work and fast.

More Tips
Join your local Facebook jobs group page. Lots of companies are too busy to put the job online and will advertise there for immediate starts. Also, put yourself out there, explain what you are looking for, what you can do and if you can drive, hours you can work etc and people will reply to you will suggest places taking on.
Call up places like care homes, local takeaway deliveries that are still trading and see if they need help
Good luck!
Good resource. I'm sure somebody will benefit from this. The crop picking suddenly sounds very appealing with it being more than a metre from my front door...
Click the “farming & crop
picking” heading in blue and should open up the page you need. In blue headings are clickable links
Wow I had just been saying to my friend about where these shops/places get all the extra staff they need......now have my answer!! Lol thanks for this post!!
This is great! I hope people who really need can get these positions and not just people trying to get an extra buck. I have refrained myself from applying to a weekend position because I think the opportunity should go to someone else that needs it.
Good on you for this list....am sure it will help a lot if people out who are looking for work.
