I love the packing cubes - they really work. Put socks and underwear in shoes, make sure you pack a couple/few polythene bags to put dirty laundry in on return (if you haven't managed to launder) or for items that may leak on cracking/dropping, lastly my fave that saves loads of space - put all tees on top of each other then flip the sleeves inwards as usual then roll from the neck down in to a neat tube shape. This works with other clothing too and avoids serious creasing at the unpacking start to your hols. Have a great time.

Some great tips thanks a lot. I’m lucky enough that I’m going to a villa so have washing and ironing facilities if I need them, not that I want to be doing laundry on holiday, but helps before leaving so I return with clean clothes.

Roll your clothes rather than fold before putting in your bag, helps prevent creasing,

What I have done is put them in suction bags then into cubes. None of my clothes got creased and I got a lot in.

I tend to travel really light with a carry on bag when ever I travel. Underwear sits in shoes and I have two stacks of clothes folded which always works for me.

I have never used a 'cube' but they sound interesting. Thanks for the tip! Xx

We always travel light with our Trek buddy backpacks, never buy checked in luggages. It is light and large yet it's size is accepted on every airlines. I found a transparent neon pencil case last year at Home bargains which has a zipper on top and perfect for packing your toiletries. For holidays I pack my aloe vera gel and suntan lotion, some medicine and white hats. We buy priority so we can take a second bag too: a smaller backpack to use when we walking around in the city, and a textile tote bag we put the food for the trip and the transparent bag you just pick out and put on the tray before you go through the package control at the airport.

I used my own transparent bag once for my liquid but was told I had to use standard airport ones that they supply. So I took some extra for my following trips so less trouble at scanning. I also pack a foldable rucksack as I usually have to remove some clothing on the plane. There are no rules to say how many bags you can take off the plane.

I have some of those vacuum bags. They come with a hand pump. You can get loads in your case, I just can't carry it when it is full 😂

I use about three or four which I got from Poundland. I did not have a weight problem.
