No, I am stuck with one, as I don't like to change providers. I have Utilita and I am happy with them.

NatalyKroxa What is the problem on changing providers? You are losing a lot of money every year.

bzortead did I mention that it is a problem. I just write regarding myself ,as for years of changing I didnt see much saving, all them companies only promise you better tariffs ,but in the end its the same. If you have different experience and you manage to save lots well done .

NatalyKroxa Actually, this is not only about tariffs, but other few things. You can switch earning cashback/referrals/and better tariffs, so you can always enjoy some money off. For example, last time I changed electricity provider, I get £100 from the referral link + cashback and I managed to get another 2 people using my referral code. I started with the new company with £240 in credit, almost half year of my bills.

Yes, when our contract is due to run out with the company we are with at the time, we look for a better deal. This year we stayed with the same company as they had the best deal. We save money every year by switching. We were actually in credit at the end of our contract so that was a bonus

I'm on a fixed rate with shell energy till next april on my sons birthday.I always shop round as when a company starts to take me for granted and neglecting my needs they can 1 day get onto the list of they could offer me free gas and electric and I would not be a customer of them . 1 thing I do and this will sound bonkers if I am happy with the company is about next March I will go onto 1 of the cashback sites and move my tariff to another 1 they have and I will easily make over £100 for not moving anywhere .

Getsome I'm with them at the moment. They are ok but they keep asking me if I want to have a smart meter? Any opinions on this?

SAdeals They keep texting me to get one but havent had one yet. I had a nightmare with them as they had an issue with the system and it ended going to the ombudsmen. In the end they had to apologise and clear the amount.

I regularly change by electric and gas provider, on average every year or other year, if I'm tied into a good deal. Checking for the best tariff and sometimes you can find cashback for changing. I think it's the only way to ensure you are not paying over the odds.

I'm with Igloo.

I could switch to a slightly cheaper company, but it would only save me about £1 a month, so it's not worth the hassle.

I get emails from MSE Energy Club if there's a better deal out there, but there doesn't seem to be much atm

We use Octopus energy - they are okay I guess, great customer service as it is really easy to get hold of them!

I switch all the time to get the switching referral bonus of £50/£100. Then refer a few people to get more £50s and then use that as my credit. Currently got £140 credit and paying £1 direct debit a month to octopus. Will switch when it’s used up to whichever one offers the highest switch bonus.
