Home Inspo!
Ask a Question
We are moving shortly and I really would like some inspo, I'm all for crisp and clean white and greys! Slightly show home but something we all feel comfortable in! Girly but not to much, I love little home accessories! Wheres the best places to look?
The Range has lovely stuff to suit all tastes, not overly expensive but look like they are. B&M Bargains have some lovely crystal and mirrored items and obviously you've got Ikea too. Have a look on Pinterest and make a themeboard then start shopping
My daughter likes Wayfair... also have a look at charity shops....fantastic ...unique stuff at a great price and u have supported a great charity.
I'd second that - definitely checkout your local Charity Furniture Outlets - You can get some great quality wooden tables chairs cabinets bookshelves etc and it's amazing what a couple of coats of light grey paint can do. Many will deliver for free as well. Save £££s!
I have white and greys. Shades and textures make a difference. I shopped in dunelm for wee pieces and rug. Ebay for wallpaper and curtains, Ikea for curtain rails, asda and matalan for lighting and photo frames. I also got a mirrored wall mounted fire from amazon for a bargain price.
Yes whites are lovely and timeless. Consider up cycling your furniture and paint it with Annie Sloane paints. You can’t go wrong with this paint just make sure you wax it once completely dry. Good luck.
Hi deelondon I've just finished doing my front room. And I have done it in cream and grey. Cream walls grey throw over for the chairs and sofa . lamp shade and lamp in grey. I've put some fairy lights around the room. I brought a lot of it from the charity shops. And b and q for the paint. And bits and pieces from wilko, and home bargains. I am very happy with the way it turn out. It's nice and cosy. And its light not dark . I did the room in three greys light, medumie, and dark.
