does anyone have any home learning ideas and strategies for children during quarantine that they could share with each other also any free learning resources

The Open University has some really interesting free learning courses that may be of interest to you.
YouTube is great for that if you watch the right people. Are there any particular areas in which you want to learn? It may be worth mentioning that to bring in some more specific advice from people who know about particular jobs or hobbies.
Also it is worth mentioning that certain courses may entitle you to an NUS/Totum student discount card. Obviously for adults not for children! Good for discounts and Co-op 10% off too.
I have a preschooler luckily so our home learning is more learning while playing which is great fun. We’ve had lots of messy play, bug hunts, learning about vegetables at our allotment and books etc we’ve had great fun and have made lots of memories
