The boss of direct is going to turn house of Fraser into the new Harris . Which means price will be very high. And it will not be the same. I liked house of Fraser. Most of the store that I grow up with have all closed. I use to love c and a. And the other I think will not be long in closing down markes . There food has got very dear. And I can see that not to far off. That all shopping will be done on line. There will be no more shop's.🦉🦉

Lol I doubt he could make it a new Harrods - he only knows how to make things cheap, so he doesn’t have the right credentials (and even if he tried, it’ll be a complete fail as it’s not the trend of the high street at the mo - consumers want bargains).

The previous Chinese owners of house of Fraser tried to make the brand luxurious, but it failed - they should have kept the store at the level it was previously they didn’t alienate existing customers

I reckon in the future there will be more click and collect outlets, as more people buy online and may want to collect in person, perhaps even to just trial things out (probably more for tech items though)

all very sad, as I do miss some of the old shops/stores. Now and again I think of Woolworths
