Mum-of-4 reveals HUGE lockdown laundry pile that built up over 2 months after she couldnโ€™t be bothered to fold clothes

A MUM-OF-FOUR who decided not to put any clothes away during lockdown and homeschooling revealed how they created such a high pile in her living room she could sit on it like a throne.

Releasing pictures, Kodie Quinlivan, from Perth, Western Australia, dubbed the mound 'Mount Fold-more'.

'Mount Fold-more' is a very apt name but more importantly I don't know about you but WHO has enough clothes to leave their washing pile for 2 months - I'd want things back to wear again!

I just think she is a lazy mare and I would be ashamed to pose for that so all the world can see.

Just so, I couldn't believe she is bragging about it. Did you catch this phrase

Another added: "More of this should be shown, we arenโ€™t all super woman, reality is nice to see."

You don't need to be super woman to put your clothes away! ๐Ÿž

tumblespots omg, I really cannot stand this type of slovenly behaviour, there is no excuse for it. I have worked all my adult life (maternity leave apart) and still managed to run a tidy home in the days when dads did s*d all. With both sons at school and him being a copper I had 15 shirts a week to iron as well as everything else. I expect she is two busy quaffing wine, sitting on social media. Sorry if this post offends anyone out there but you don't have to be super woman to run a tidy home, I certainly wasn't, just had a bit of pride.

Lynibis Well said. I agree entirely, we have all run our homes to the best of our abilities but this woman doesn't seem to care and crows about it! I also think you have the nail on the head when you talk about social media, she is probably too busy pouting in her selfies! ๐Ÿž

What example is she setting her children also? You lead by example. They will grow up with the same attitude.

No example at all, other than a bad one and no doubt the children will grow up thinking that this is the done thing. ๐Ÿž

personally, I would have gotten the kids to put the clothes away every week. Part of their new home school ciriculum. that lesson would be called learning to look after yourself.

That's great. It's good that children learn that things don't just tidy themselves away ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿž

tumblespots Exactly, what with the kids being home and all. Most things you learn in school are no use but doing the laudry is a necessity.

I will admit to wearing clothes an extra day during lockdown and ignoring little Mark's but I've still tried

I think we are all probably guilty of that, knowing that no-one will see us, but a pile that size! Not on your nelly. ๐Ÿž

It seems from the article that she took it all to the laundrette and that it filled 50 bags. 50 bags! I wouldn't have enough space in the car! ๐Ÿž

I wouldn't be admitting to that! I am by no means a domestic goddess but my home is clean and tidy and my toddler helps me around the house. I would be getting her 4 kids to fold the laundry.

I am by no means superwoman but that massive pile is not reality.

It does make you wonder if it was staged and that she borrowed clothes from her friends just for 5 minutes of fame? ๐Ÿ˜ฒ ๐Ÿž

tumblespots it must be staged. I know she has 4 kids so there will be lots of clothes but not that many surely!

There are 3 of us in our house and I do a wash every 2/3 days, but it gets put away once its dry as we couldn't go 2 months letting clothes pile up!

My 20 month old puts clothes in the washing machine, takes them out for me, takes them off the clothes horse and hands them to me, so if he can do that I'm sure her kids can fold some laundry.

MrsCraig Yes, I think it was an idea she had to become famous! Just think though, that's 60 pairs of knickers & socks per person let alone any proper clothes - I wouldn't have enough to last half that length of time! ๐Ÿ˜ฒ ๐Ÿž

In the house its 3 of us - me,hubby and my son. Usually I tend to do a load every few days with work uniform, clothes, sheets etc... sometimes I even do two loads in a day. It soon piles up...but 2 months?! How are they not running round naked?!๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ and it definitely takes it to another level of lazy...

It does and with your 'naked' comment I have some terrible visions running around in my head now! I think I mentioned in the post that I wouldn't even have enough clothes for that and I want my favourites back within a day or so. ๐Ÿž

It's hard running a household,..maybe she felt really overwhelmed with all the chores during lockdown,it did put a lot of pressure on families.Having four children, keeping them entertained,i believe they had some repairs that needed doing too..washing soon builds up.Maybe she could get her children involved with folding the clothes in future&offer a little reward x
