HUKD Stepping Their Game up on Offering Rewards

Took them a while, eh. Good move.

By the way, sometimes good deals/freebies are posted on there but voted cold. I suppose that's what happens with an antiquated voting system.

It looks at the moment they are testing it on a few loyal posters.

Yup. mixmixi is one of them and I found it comical to say the least, that he hunts deals all around Europe. In other words, an entire continent. 😜 Could have just said UK which would've been more believable, though. Cool dude, nevertheless.

Edit: The "Europe" part shows up on all pre-made "bios" of the users in the program. Still, doesn't make much sense, eh.

Rockman Load of tosh honestly. There are plenty of other normal users who post quality deals. Pepper expert program sounds really immature.

Rockman Does anyone else think this description is somewhat vague?

"I do not profit..."

These so called "experts" are being paid a share out of HUKD's pot.

On what basis do you pay Pepper Experts and how much do they earn?

Pepper Experts are rewarded purely for the quality of their contributions. Each month we’ll contribute a fixed monetary pot, and our Experts will be rewarded a share of that pot based on how their deals performed according to our Pep Index*. The better the quality, the higher their cut of the pot.

jakemoss The user "amazoncrazy" has to be getting paid because the amount of comments he posts in every deal, no person would do that for free. At the very least he should make sure it's written and formatted properly, which is not asking much.

The Indonesia deals on HUKD are kinda weird but some seem to like them, eh. The Spider-Man PS4 deal went completely cold, but it was also due to bad timing since UK retailers are selling physical copies for just £28~29.

I don't like HUKD, their moderators are like infants devoid of reasoning, latestdeals will surpass them eventually. They are also prejudiced and banned Chinese sellers on Amazon from being posted there. Yet they allow a few select Chinese sellers for some unknown reason.

I’ve never used hot uk deals but for some reason the name is really making me giggle, is that a HUKD thing? Pepper experts? 😂

I do not like their user surface. It is dated.....

They should pay to a designer and get a programmer...

The Pepper network seems to be dated compared to the former HUKD system in itself which worked a lot nicer and smoother. It's a shame they ended up removing the For Sale section since many loved that.

Had a more in-depth look at it and.. the concept is good but the execution is terrible.

14 users were picked but it's not even the best ones of HUKD like BuzzDuraband, but someone named "amazoncrazy". I guess it's too much hassle to bother with and seeing how "amazoncrazy" posts a "very warm welcome newbie.heat added" every single time for each new user, shows just how lazy and unprofessional he is.

Image

mixmixi, mrswitch, joeydeacon and thewrecker7477 were good picks, imo. The rest... eh.

They're hired to post deals and comments as demanded so can see why the "spare" ones were picked.

Im a regular poster on HUKD and am rather miffed at what theyve done to be quite honest! Hence ive joined this site tonight and will post on here instead, its just a shame that latest deals doesnt get anywhere near as much traffic as HUKD, however hopefully in the future this will change.

Good luck to them. It’s the first time I've been on their site for a long time and can’t say that I miss it

The whole thing seems a bit sketchy as to how they're handling and that the user "amazoncrazy" is replying to more or less every deal there and the point is, that doesn't feel honest, genuine or sincere.

Rockman I noticed that too, really crazy, obvious he gets paid for it, otherwise why would he bother wasting his time for nothing?
