Ideas for a 40th Birthday celebration...
Ask a Question
Hi,
My other half is going to be the big 40 at the end of the year and I'm thinking of doing something to celebrate but not sure what. A party is 100% no as he hates anything like that and he would just walk out and go home.
Was thinking of going go karting with some friends of ours as a Group but other than that, I'm stuck!
Was maybe going to book a meal for later in the day but to go out and do something would be great too.
Thanks
Why book a meal?
Do you have anyone who could take the kids for the day? (Assuming that you have kids and you could take the day off)
Binge watch his favourite programmes/films on the sofa all day and then cook him his favourite food.
Wash it all down with your/his favourite booze and you've got a winner.
I think the food thing is the main one though. I love it when MrsChimp cooks for me (not gonna be anytime soon though )
Thanks Chimp. I was thinking doing something with friends too. We don't drink so it'll be council pop for us
Assuming the world stays open this time the world is your oyster paintballing always a good laugh driving 4x4 trucks a great group activity if your into that
Thanks Nadiaparveen He likes anything petrol related as he's a bit of a petrol head (well we both are) so I'm looking into something like that.
Tickets for a motor related event for next year ie Grand Prix, Goodwood Festival of Speed, Driving experience.
Thank you lilyflower Goodwood!!!!....now thats that's plan...he watches it every year. We live 5 mins away from Croft circuit so we go when we can but obviously Covid has played a part this last year.
Was looking at going to see Green Day but next year on tour but very very expensive, that's one thing on his bucket list! And it would cost an arm and a leg for hotel etc.
