I'm also in London and I agree it does seem like a lot of people are simply not bothering to take any precautions anymore. Although, judging by news reports it's the same in many other parts of England. But, it hasn't stopped me going outside. It's important to get some fresh air and exercise. Just be aware of what other people are doing when you see them.

In our area people did not social distance from the beginning, not even under lock down. It was not forced by police and they did not block the walking path next to Thames.

People do not care to keep the distance.

But honestly now that pubs are open it is like a message u can have fun. It is not going to happen that drunk people keep distance and take care of each other when they can not even take care of themselves.

2nd wave is coming.

So should the police spend the day chasing people trying to impose social distance? These are the ones who will blame the government or whatever else they find convenient at the moment. If the person still doesn't understand that they should keep their distance, wash their hands and wear a mask, there is no police or government that will fix this.

From the scenes shown on tv at the weekend I can understand people being very worried about another wave of the virus and secondary lockdowns. It hasn't gone away so how come these individuals feel so untouchable? These are the hypocritical twollocks who stand outside their front door clapping......

I think we all need to take a step back and remind everyone around us that there is still a pandemic and we are still living in this terrible time. Social life will come back everything will be normal but we need to listen to the advise that’s been given.

Japan's government never took the virus very seriously but the population already wears face masks to prevent viruses spreading and when the rules were set people followed them religiously result is very low infection rates and deaths. UK sadly is like the USA with people just doing their own thing, not considering others and hence high infection rate. The police needed to come down much harder on people but that doesn't seem acceptable to the general population.

We are still learning about the virus. I got it back in mid January and it was probably in Wuhan in August last year and I think France and Italy have stated they could have had it from November last year. People will be contagious for different amount of times. It effects many organs and this varies by person and the virus may move back from an organ to infect the blood again so people may return to being contagious. Most people will be in contact with someone vulnerable to the virus, parents, grandparents, someone with a long term health condition etc. You see so many young people acting recklessly and yet many of these people live with their parents. You also get people so stupid they base their opinion on nonsense spouted on facebook like there is no Covid 19 it is the 5G mobile network killing people clearly those people will not act responsibly they have no capacity for rational thought.

Ultimately I think the virus will spread and it will kill those vulnerable to it until decent medical procedures are in place which are improving all the time. Sadly we have lost many fantastic people who have had their lives cut short.

I think everyone's just fed up of it all now. The virus is most likely here to stay, and whilst I do believe that the lockdown was a good idea at first, we all need to get back to some normality at some point.

I'm from north west and I've hardly gone out but whenever I have I've been horrified about how little some people seem to care.

I totally agree that we need to get back to normality but I personally think we are rushing things and a lot of people where I am in north London have actually fallen ill with coronavirus.

I live in Scotland I am still in lockdown because of ill health. They are going to reviwe it at the end of this month. I can't see it being lifted any time soon. Wearing a mask came in on the 10th of July and if you find not wearing a mask it it's £60 to £100. I do think is going to fast. What with pubs opening up and swimming pools oping has well people getting drink its going to spread like wild fire. And I do think we will get a 2nd wave and its going to be a lot worse then the last one. And we be in a much longer lockdown. Things need to slow down. 😷😷

So it’s Everyone in a mask or be fined everywhere I guess from next Friday, I think this is good but are people going to stick to it? I’ll answer it NO!

It is really annoying! I think everyone should respect others and care for their own and others health, a lot of people weren’t adhering to the one way rule or if I was walking pushing the pushchair I would always be the one moving my pram slightly towards the road to keep the distance and people wouldn’t even acknowledge I was doing this to keep distance! I also feel people have forgotten the pandemic. I’m really hoping there won’t be another peak, but the way things are going it is heading that way!
