What Impact Has Storm Ciara Had Where You Live?

Ask a Question

Part of my neighbour's fence has blown down, a ridge tile came off my roof; which put a big crack in the gutter on its way down.

Quite a few trees around the area down according to the local newspaper web site, but I've not come across anything really. In fact the storm hasn't been as bad as I thought in my area considering they were saying it would be the worst for seven years .

We had a few places where it's flooded and the river banks has nearly got water reached the top. There has also been a few wheelie bins blown onto its side and part of the contents fallen out

I've got one panel to replace as its pretty much disntegrated and collapsed but a new panel should slide right in to the two posts.

There was a bit of flooding on the roads, with cars skidding along, as well as showering pedestrians as they zoom past. Apart from a few bins being blown about, everything looks like it’s intact

some streets have been flooded , some peoples houses have also been flooded. Parts of a building have fallen off which has blocked a whole street off.

Slate tiles have come off the roof, window frame has started to leak as the rain washed some of the cement surround off, so I now have an indoor water feature and 3 fence panels down, oh and my garden is completely flooded. Considering how bad it was and that there was a fatality, I am grateful it wasn't more damage
