Part of my neighbour's fence has blown down, a ridge tile came off my roof; which put a big crack in the gutter on its way down.
Quite a few trees around the area down according to the local newspaper web site, but I've not come across anything really. In fact the storm hasn't been as bad as I thought in my area considering they were saying it would be the worst for seven years .
We have had two fence posts break in our front garden and my friends back fence has been blown down completely.
We had a few places where it's flooded and the river banks has nearly got water reached the top. There has also been a few wheelie bins blown onto its side and part of the contents fallen out
I've got one panel to replace as its pretty much disntegrated and collapsed but a new panel should slide right in to the two posts.
There was a bit of flooding on the roads, with cars skidding along, as well as showering pedestrians as they zoom past. Apart from a few bins being blown about, everything looks like it’s intact
some streets have been flooded , some peoples houses have also been flooded. Parts of a building have fallen off which has blocked a whole street off.
Slate tiles have come off the roof, window frame has started to leak as the rain washed some of the cement surround off, so I now have an indoor water feature and 3 fence panels down, oh and my garden is completely flooded. Considering how bad it was and that there was a fatality, I am grateful it wasn't more damage
Tiles blown off houses, trampolines blown out if gardens and damaged people cars. Didnt realise the wind had so much power
On my estate now impact but the main road not far has flooded. A man was in the news there after building a make shift boat to take it paddling in the flood
