In the News
A town centre property is going under the hammer for what might seem like the bargain price of £100 - but the only problem is you cannot get into it.

Would you buy this?
It's not much of a surprise that it is council owned! Selling of those bits & pieces to raise funds....
Haha i saw that - might be full of hidden nazi looted art or the body of Lord Lucan - you never know..
Or more likely a load of dusty old **** mags lol
tumblespots Nah they will probably install a ladder and turn it into a HMO lol
Or an indian restaurant - you know why they dont play football - because every time they get a corner they setup a shop lol
OK thats the joke for today!
garygemmell A permanent ladder over a walkway... interesting.
That reminds me of the one about why the romans build straight roads.... (which I am sure you know - you can't tell these jokes today being non-PC)
tumblespots Oh you can tell me anything i am not pc at all one of the reasons they booted me off hukd.
lol
The pc brigade have sucked all the fun out of life - cant even tell a joke now because some SJW will get their knickers in a twist - Bring back Mary Whitehouse all is forgiven - god she would have a heart attackl with shows like that Naked Dating can you imagine her face lol
#notpc
#notblm
#notmetoo
PS. No a pulldown loft ladder would do!
garygemmell You are right they do suck the fun out of life.
We've got one of those, we could have it transferred over to Wisbech..
tumblespots One of those what an SJW or a ladder lol
If its an SJW i hope it isnt your wife - I cant imagine anything worse than an sjw earache when you are trying to watch the Walking Dead or The Orville!
The property next door which it was obviously part of at one point, is also for sale. A lot of people don't like fly over rooms, and so they have probably sold it back to the council as unstable at some point and now it's for sale again.
Yes, I saw that the property next door was for sale too, so perhaps someone will buy them together and restore it?
I've just seen another unusual property is up for sale in London for 'only' £950,000. It has two bedrooms, a roof terrace, a small garden area and is close to Westfield shopping centre... But it's only around 6 feet wide. It must be a nightmare to bring in furniture and large kitchen appliances - https://www.winkworth.co.uk/properties/sales/goldhawk-road-shepherds-bush-w12/SHE121014#gallery
ACR I've seen properties like this before. Whilst it is narrow they have actually used the space very well. I've seen some flats around here that have narrower looking kitchens and smaller bathrooms. I certainly wouldn't pay almost a million for it, even based on where it is located and I would find it far to claustrophobic but it does look nice.
