Innocent x Heinz Baked Beanz Smoothie - a Perfect Way to Start the Day?

Other

This may feel like a delayed April Fools Day prank, but Innocent Drinks have announced they are doing a collaboration with Heinz to produce a Beanz Machine Breakfast Smoothie, which essentially looks like a bottle filled with Heinz Beanz.

I don't mind cold beans, but I've never thought about drinking them. Plus, given how expensive Innocent Smoothies are, you could just fill an empty bottle with baked beans for the same experience - unless they are adding extra ingredients.

I may buy it (hopefully as part of a Β£3 Meal Deal) just for the novelty factor and to keep the bottle.

Would you like to start the day chugging down a bottle of beanz?

Lol I don’t think so! I like my beans hot, and preferably with the other English breakfast items. Although the beans in this instance does help me wash the breakfast items down

I can't imagine too many people will be drinking a Beanz Smoothie with their morning Cornflakes

ACR Lol I suppose there are more disgusting things you could chug in the mornings. I often see people down red bull and that for me is disgusting

It looks like this was meant to be Innocent's Aprils Fools Day joke this year, but was held back due to COVID-19. They have now posted a disclaimer. Even though they also posted the original photo.

Innocent are continuing this 'joke' smoothie flavour theme and have unveiled some more unusual concoctions. Such as Hashbrowns & Fried Mushroom, White Bread, Brown Bread & Garlic Bread and Sausage - potentially a choke hazard.

That's so wrong, you can tell that since Coca Cola bought them out that the are no longer staying true to their original ethos. Which it why fake news is beliviable πŸ™‚

Are these any worse than the tasteless protein shakes flogged at ridiculous prices ?

Bung any combination of healthy foods in a blender and it will do you good (far healthier than a fry up ) .

Mind you getting the taste acceptable may require some experimentation !

I think it's about the conviance as they were originally sold on the fact you were paying a premium for an healthy drink which you could have on the go and an easy way to get some of your 5 a day
