MPs are launching an inquiry into the safety and security of smart speakers like Alexa and their ability to spy on their owners
This technology has been suspect for years and doesn`t surprise me
Even laptops are able to spy on you
Have you ever spoken about a subject like buying a new car or pc for example only to see adverts start flashing up on your laptop a few minutes later ?

Lol that's why I've never had on even turned Alexa off on my daughters tablet
This is why I talk about random things for entertainment on colleagues phoned etc
It needs to be very intelli gent to make sense of our conversations especially with an under 2 around.
Yes you look at shoes and shorts and they follow you around for a week lol. Internet was a Darpa tool though so no surprises. Psyops are massive and I aint paranoid or obsessive I downloaded a CIA paper Open source/Public Domain.I wrote on my blog ages ago about it!
It'll be interesting to see the results and which companies are involved, maybe we'll see lots of Alexas ending up on ebay for 99p.
And yet the people hear saying they don't trust Alexa etc, but probably have smartphones
I've never had an Alexa device and do not have activated on my phone or laptop, I don't get any advertising following around as I have installed the Opera browser and use the adblocker.
I was talking to my niece about what she wanted for her birthday she mentioned a Pandora bracelet and a couple of days later a brochure from Pandora pops trough my letterbox that was the end of Alexa in my house
