International Chocolate to Try
Ask a Question
I'm doing a project to try different chocolate from around the world. What are your recommendations for amazing bars to try?
I know you can buy it in a few places in the UK, but I really like Milka, especially the toffee nut offering.
FG280 there is some lovely Swiss chocolate. My mates mum always bought some back when she visited. Mmm
Japan have some really different KitKat flavours if you’re looking for different takes on bars we can get here.
Whittaker's in New Zealand do a nice selection of chocolate bars, including their classic Peanut Slab - https://www.whittakers.co.nz/en_WW/products/#classic-blocks
You can purchase some of their products here - https://www.sanza.co.uk/New_Zealand_Chocolate_Bars.asp - this website also stocks Australian Cadbury bars such as Cherry Ripe.
I also like the Swedish and Norwegian chocolate brand Marabou, especially their Black Salt Liquorice bar - https://www.marabou.se/produkter
IKEA sell some of their products, as does this website - https://www.totallyswedish.com/collections/chocolate - they also sell Plopp bars
TheChimp Pascall do quite a lot of flavours. Including limited edition varieties. I can't find a site that shows the full range, but this one has quite a lot - wouldn't mind trying the Pineapple Lumps - https://theaustralianfoodshop.com/?s=pascall&post_type=product
Japanese chocolate can be very, very different from what we are used to seeing over here. Just Google ‘Japanese kitkat‘ and you’ll see the adventurous combination
Belguim chocolate is the absolute best I would recommend I've visited brugge and they have got loads of choclatiers
