Internet Has Gone Slow

Anyone can help me with this. Got a fast enough internet speed (189Mbs download and 11.6Mbs upload), but if i click on something it takes ages to load (different websites pages), it actually makes my PC hang, i cannot do anything else when it happens on the PC. I have uninstalled Firefox as i thought it was the problem and started using Google Chrome, but I have the same problem. PC is an i5 processor with 8gb of RAM, was working perfectly fine before. I run a full virus scan with Avast but nothing has come up. Any ideas, TIA
It's often down to programs running in the background and startup programs. You can disable or remove many of these in Settings. If you've also been deleting your internet history, you could try downloading the free version of CCleaner, which will help get rid of files that can slow down your computer.
Yes the mouse peddling the wheel that runs the internet has his dinner between 6-9pm so thats why its so slow.
At least thats what my BF tells me when he is browsing his "special websites"

You have spyware on your machine - open up task manager and post a screenshot.
Try loading windows in safe mode - if its ok then you have an infection.
You could also try adding another profile to your machine and try running it as corrupt profile often causes many problems!
As you have tried another browser that rules out embedded browser addons so its something that is running on startup!
Check your startup files using the program "autoruns" - download it and it will tell you what is running on your machine when you switch it on!
