I would go for a Samsung or a Sony, never had any problems with either. I don't think it matters what phone you have now a days, your battery is going to run out quickly.

I'd go for a Samsung/Android any day over an iPhone as I can do what I want with it, use external card on the phone/tablet and droid-based devices are generally much cheaper.

I had an iPhone but really hated it because I couldn't even just drag and drop music and videos, you know, basic stuff.

iTunes is one heck of an overbloated program.

Samsung is among the best phone/tablet brands out there. You also have Google, Nokia, LG, Lenovo and the sorts but they tend to not come close.

In my opinion, Samsung tablets for Android are the best, as long as you're willing to drop a decent amount (£200~) of money for it. Amazon's £30 tablets are just about okay to browse but not much else.

I get iPhone after iPhone and I love it but I have never used a Samsung before and it seems like lots of people here enjoy it 😊

It depends...if you have an Apple computer at home, than you should go with iphone and get a whole gear, so u can get the advantages. If u so not have, than just go with Samsung, their phones are good. I had 2 of them and they were good and last long.
