Not a Christmas present but when we got married we got given a tartan wreath. It wasn't really my thing as it wasn't my taste. My mil loved it though so she took it. I wouldn't say it was a bad present, it just wasn't my thing.

Im not sure, as I've had some duds over the years. But there was one time I was temporarily disappointed by my secret Santa - I recall opening it up and getting some plastic tumblers and 2 scratch cards, but thankfully one of those scratch cards gave me a £10 win, so result!
