well guys where you all gone it’s like your all gone into hiding am here on my own 
I got lost with the no virus chat comments got to long Lynibis lilyflower davidstockport
I'm here, was just saying to OH that everyone was quiet, perhaps we are forgetting what time it is as well as what day! Anyway here's another from my Sister -
A man was sitting on the edge of the bed, watching his wife, look at herself in the mirror. Since her birthday was not far off, he asked what she’d like as a gift. “I’d like to be eight again,” she replied, still looking in the mirror.
On the morning of her birthday, he rose early, made her a nice big bowl of Coco Pops, and then took her to the local theme park. What a day! He put her on every ride in the park; the Death Slide, the Wall of Fear, the Screaming Roller Coaster, everything there was. Five hours later they staggered out of the theme park. Her head was reeling and her stomach felt upside down. He then took her to a McDonald’s where he ordered her a Happy Meal with extra fries and a chocolate shake.
Then it was off to a movie, with popcorn, a Coke, and her favourite sweets - M&Ms. What a fabulous adventure! Finally she wobbled home with her husband and collapsed into bed, exhausted. He leaned over his wife with a big smile and lovingly asked, "Well dear, what was it like being eight again?"
Her eyes slowly opened and her expression suddenly changed. "I meant my dress size, you idiot!!!!"
The moral of the story: even when a man is listening, he is going get it wrong!
I am here Ann1984 and was thinking the same. I must admit I do spend too much time on here and am trying to stop looking in every five minutes lol. But I am here first thing and on and off during the evening.
At the moment it is hard to think of any non virus chat but I have amused myself, again, this evening by flitting around on YouTube watching clips from Phantom and Les Mis.
I am off to bed now to read my book until my eyelids droop. Take care, will chat tomorrow.

davidstockport i need to pick your brains if have 2 mins am looking for a cheap replica cannon ink cartridge just Can’t justify paying the prices
Ann1984 I haven't used a printer for years when I did I refilled my own cartridges and also used compatibles (on an Epson printer) you can get "compatible" (not replica) cartridges for Canon (not double n) printers online - possibly worth a try.

You can also find refill kits online. but because of most newer cartridges being chipped - possibly not a good idea nowadays.
davidstockport thank you prices are so high I think it's going to be easier to by new printer everytime and sell used one
Ann1984 I don't think the prices on that site I linked to were that high - (three compatible cartridges for just over £10). The problem is that it doesn't seem to matter what make printers are the cartridge prices are going to be "over the top" that's why they sell the printers for so little, often for less than the cost of the cartridges, but the cartridges that come with them are NOT full of ink.
I don't think there is any market for second hand printers, so just buying a new one when ink runs out doesn't work.
This marketing strategy is used by others too - Polaroid cameras were sold cheap but the price of film was astronomical, certain razor manufacturers use the same technique the razors are cheap but the replacement blades are very expensive.
davidstockport thank you I have a browse school don't take into consideration the price of the homework when we got to buy ink for the sheets they expected
Ann1984 I get cartridges for my Brother laser printer from Amazon, they are 'compatible with …...' last 2/pack was £15.25 as opposed to Brother original at nearly £50 each. Google make and model number and see what comes up.
lilyflower thanks will have a look but the school can wait having enough good is more important in my eyes
I've been spending my isolating entering comps, doing surveys and looking after my son. I haven't spent any more time on here than normal.
I have been spending my isolation looking after kids and just trying new things would anyone recommend
