It’s still August so even though I feel the chills, I refuse to wear a coat out. I’d wear a cardigan or a light jacket, but definitely not a coat. However, I’ve noticed some people are wearing their faux fur lined puffer jackets already. Really? Is it winter already?
yep, my coat is out and next week going to buy a new one, hate cold weather though dont mind it when i in the house the heating is on and dark nights come in.
I hate cold weather too, but I’m trying to just bear it for now as there’s no way I want the coats and the boots out yet, as I feel I’ve barely had a summer. The poor kids have been waiting for summer holidays at the beach - but definitely not beach weather atm
Ive started wearing my coat and the heating has gone back on aswell 
this is why my gas bill is so high 
Oh no, not the heating lol! You’re not the only one, as I’ve a friend who put hers on the moment it started raining - she said she knew those hot summer days were long gone once the clouds moved in
I've considered putting the heating on but haven't as yet. I'm coverrd in blankets while in the sofa though...
Ive got the heating on, fire on and a blanket this evening i absolutely hate being cold
It's still warm so no. Wearing a hot coat in this weather would be really weird but weirdness has been normalized.
Very true. Especially in London, as everyone here seems to be eccentric these days, and it’s readily accepted - hardly anyone looks
Nope im still wearing jean shorts and tshirts. Although i did wear a jumper with my shorts the other day Im going on holiday in 2 weeks so im staying in the summer spirit
Lol lucky you! Yes definitely get used to the shorts and tshirt, and flip flops, to soak in as much sun as possible. Enjoy your holiday 
hspexy thank you. Did feel a bit silly going out with my wife and daughter earlier mind. I was wearing tshirt shorts and sliders, they had trouser, shoes and coats on
No it is only a light fleece kind of weather. Not cold yet in Yorkshire. I still have all the windows open at home too.
Hi hspexy yes I've started to wear my coat and fur boots. Here in the highlands it's got really cold over the last 10 day. I my be wrong but I think we had are summer. Now I am getting things ready for winter. 
Oh no, sorry to hear that. I know it’s been quite chilly up north, so the highlands are definitely feeling the brunt of the storms. Hope you’re keeping warm 
No I’m not wearing a coat but I am wearing a camisole as an extra layer to keep a little warmer. I don’t really like coats they are too restricted, I much prefer wearing a down gillet with scarf and gloves, much more comfortable for driving.
No but i’m not far off wearing it... we‘ve had 11 degrees in Scotland recently which has lead to the need to put my heating back on 
I only turned it off at the start of July because we barely had a summer here.. no cost saving for me on the gas bill this year 
No. But I am already thinking about new boots for Autumn for the next season. I just need to keep keep an eye out for those lovely, crazy deals...
