Its January...so Time to Prep for Easter?

Other

We've just finished the Xmas season, and straight away the Easter stuff is out and ready to go in the shops. Seriously? Too much too soon? Valentine‘s Day hasn’t even passed yet

That's big business for you. Each one out to beat their competitors and get in first so they get their share of the public spending. Would be good if there were set dates before which they could not start selling xmas, Easter, Valentine's etc but of course it would not be adhered to.

I agree. It’s just too much, very in your face. Doesn’t make any of these occasions special anymore

Personally I think Easter is over rated. I get the kids eggs a couple of days before Easter Sunday... we might do an egg hunt but probably not as my 3 dogs will sniff them out before the kids have a chance !!! Not much prep needed there !!

i think easter sould stop being like christmas kids are getting more n more too much competition against friends to who got the most for Easter 1to 2 eggs is more than enough per child no need for other stuff

I think Easter is definitely losing it's meaning & I agree that it is far too early to have eggs out.
