Snap. I am in Maldon in Essex and I looked out the window 10 minutes ago and saw a flurry of flakes. Wow... 
rochey2 We went when I was a teenager and to a small town so I wasn't impressed. My parents are still there. I would have got more out of it if I'd been a bit older. I think the education system is better. They don't change the exams every time there is a new government.
Fun in the Summer. There are lots of small lakes to go swimming and the Summer holidays are longer than in the UK.
I am housebound if snow settles. I have a 2 seater car so there is really no chance the little thing can cope.
I live on the top of a massive hill, so if it snows, we can't get the car up the hill and we have to walk! Not been snowed in yet, but I reckon it could happen.

Absolutely! Plenty of hot chocolate in our house and crisps! Those are my necessary items to get through it!
Nope. No snow in this little corner of the South West, although Yeovil (5 miles away) apparently had some.
It's snowing! I love seeing snow but in UK or the capital at least it never snows too much. 
(Birmingham) Snowing heavily in Harrow this morning. There is a big tree opposite my window which looks very pretty.

I am at centre parcs in nottingham and afe leaving back for newcastle to escape the snow
So I got up this morning to this and a power cut until 11am... The joys of living in the countryside.

It's a bit slushy here now and rain is forecast tomorrow and that it will be very cold. I hope it is white on Christmas Day.
