I've Got 5,000 Points. Where's My Reward?
Help
Congratulations! If you've reached 5,000 points, we are currently rewarding you with an Amazon voucher.
To claim it, simply go to your dashboard, and click on the reward
I and the team, Deepak + Kelsey, will then get notified. We will send you an Amazon voucher by email.
We will send the voucher to the email address you used to register your account on Latest Deals
This is done manually, so please allow some time. If it's been a few days and you haven't received anything, you can contact us
Points and rewards are our way to say thank you. Latest Deals is a community site, and contributions are hugely appreciated
p.s. Did you know...
- You can earn points for marking old deals as expired?
- You earn more points for posting a mixture of deals, vouchers, freebies and competitions?
- You even earn points for Chat comments?
- See the full list of what you can get points for here
Well, by interacting you earn points as you comment. The UK game retailer 'GameSeek' also rewards their users who chat on their news' posts but there, it's 1p per comment (might not seem like much but for those that make use of it, it's handy).
RosieWaters, I'm not sure if I'm allowed to state it but in my experience it was Β£5 Amazon voucher as that seems balanced and fair without abusing the system. Keeping that in mind, the other tiers should run similarly as 5k. I.e., 15k - Β£10, 50k - Β£15 and 100k - Β£20.
LD is a really great website to share deals and on top of that, you get chances to be rewarded (Top Bargain Hunters / "Point Boxes") so hopefully more people will join in the coming months.
By the way, Sunday's gonna be great, I'll be going to another Nintendo Switch Premiere (2nd time).
At present, we've given Β£5 Amazon Vouchers to those with 5,000 points. It's a new system and we're testing what people would like as a prize, so this may change in the future.
I was abit dis-heartened at first too, but if you do it all every day: like posts, comment, share 3 deals, then before you know it it will build up! Iβm nearing 15,000 and when I started it felt impossible! Keep going, hang in there! Also, remember, marking posts as expired, and sharing freebies and competitions also gives you points.
ReviewerOfSorts Hello, by "share" aksi172006 meant "post", i.e. find and post deals onto the website latestdeals.co.uk.
ReviewerOfSorts Noooo, Iβm sorry for the confusion. By βshare postsβ I meant share on here! Sorry for the confusion!!
Tom Thanks for clarifying I need to word properly next time incase of further confusion!
So excited for this, do you send as we earn or can we build up?
Also if you send as we earn can we build up codes?
When you hit the goals you'll be able to claim your reward. You could wait until you have all of them before claiming, or claim them one at a time as and when you hit the goals.
When you claim and how you spend is up to you. At present, the reward is an electronic Amazon voucher. From what I understand, it lasts up to 10 years so there's little risk of it expiring.
Hi, why does it get progressively harder after first reward (5000 points) Surely that's counter intuitive and the opposite to the way other rewards schemes work.
Hey Rids! Cool, that's all done - thank you for the heads-up. Look up for an email to your new address from Amazon, and send us an email if you haven't got it by tomorrow.
rids57 even moreso since HUKD has shot itself on the foot.. again. I've noticed that LD has changed a lot for the better since January 2018.
Hey, please can you send us a message via the contact form with your email address and weβll take a look into it, thanks.
Hi,
I clicked "claim" for my 5000 points amazon voucher.
May I please kindly know when this shall be emailed to me?
My email address ends with ....565@gmail.com as I've updated in my account.
Cheers
