I've Used an iPhone 16 Pro and Normally Use Android...

Other

I admit I typically prefer Android phones for their liberty, freedom, and customization, but by using my girlfriend's iPhone 16 Pro and setting it up for her (took a while to get used to) as she lost/snatched her previous one, it made me realize it's a great phone.

Obviously I would never spend £1k+ on a phone, but that was her decision.

Anyway, I've bought her a Fire HD 8 (Gen 10) Amazon Android tablet, and I'll get my Samsung A52s back soon (the screen started malfunctioning) so it'll be her introduction to the world of Android.

I have a Samsung phone, always have Samsung as find them easier to use. I wouldn’t know how to use an iPhone personally

I used to have an iphone, many years ago, it was ok but much preferred android for the much wider range of apps and much better value apps and hardware. Android felt like a huge upgrade to me but i realise some people prefer a more controlled and simple device to operate. Customisation felt much better with android so you could have the phone exactly as you like it for you. Apple products are so expensive and I'd rather spend that money elsewhere too.

Also I try to take some responsibility for what I buy as the UK is running a large trade deficit and becoming poorer by the day with more and more debt. I see people having to wait for NHS operations or having a high level of crime in their area and just can't be the type of person who recklessly spends their money without thinking about the consequences of those actions. So where possible I try to buy second-hand or high value low cost purchases or something British Made where such an option exists.

I started with Android and after a while was offered an iPhone 6s hand me down. I must have used it for about 8 years. It's battery finally died and it is no longer a supported model so couldn't use any up to date apps or updates. I enjoyed using Apple and how our (family) devices could just easily connect when setting up wi-fi. However there is no way I can afford iPhone myself so have taken advice here and bought Motorola g14. Still finding my way around it but nearly there with familiar apps I use. The battery is new so much better. Haven't used as actual phone yet though.

I had an iPhone 4 back in the day. I hated it from the get go and have never considered one again. My last few phones have been Samsung and probably my next one. I like Samsung overallto be honest, the majority of our electronics are Samsung

We have just got two new Samsung Galaxy a16's as O2 are closing 3g and our phones were not compatible. Hubby previously had an iPhone 4s and mine was a Nokia from the ark. We both find these easy to use with much more scope.
