James Webb Telescope Stunning Image Was . . . a Spanish Sausage!
In the News
So a french scientist thought it would be an apt joke to tell people his image of a chorizo sausage was in fact a picture of Proxima Centauri from the beginning of time
All he has done is give conspiracy theorists fuel to stoke the fire , now the moon landing could be questioned again and any future images could be in dispute
What an idiot !!!

I have been eating and enjoying chorizo for many years and am astonished that some-one could ever mistake it for Proxima Centauri. But then I'm a meat eater not a star gazer lol. Here's an astronaut

MelissaLee1963 That looks more realistic than the astronauts M, 'one small step for carrots'

telmel One day you sign up for an allotment and a few years later you find yourself downloading pics of strange veg .The Orange gang approacheth

telmel The James Webb Telescope will further investigate the Potato Planet of course.A Supersonic Spinning Space Spud.

telmel There's a diamond planet 55 Cancri PSR J1719-1438 . Forbes value it at $26.9 Nonillion.I'll have two and you can keep yer chorizo lol

MelissaLee1963 If someone ever managed to find and mine it M the diamonds on earth would become worthless , you would see one carat diamond rings on sale on ebay for 50p each, you would get more for the sausage LOL

telmel I love toasted cheese and chorizo sarnies.Nice on Welsh Rarebit as well.

telmel scooby snacks a must. You reach an age and an attitude where comfort surpasses speed and glamour lol.

I actually find that quite funny, it's probably the best bit of french humour ever. Anyway the french aren't known for their humour, I can't think of a single famous french comedian of the top of my head so you have to cut them some slack. I give it a 6/10 on the humour level.

BonzoBanana It's just worrying that the conspiracy theorists might use this as a lever to state other achievements were false also B

BonzoBanana Remember reading about Le Petomane /Joseph Pujol. He was a french flatulist who starred at the Moulin Rouge. Bet he was funny ..er..NON.There was a Leonard Rossiter film about him

MelissaLee1963 I certainly wouldn't want to be in the front row of that audience.

I take most scientist theories with a pinch of salt. Who cares what these "brainy" people have discovered.
