January 2021...where Did It Go?!
Ask a Question
Despite the lockdown doom and gloom, hasn't January flown by already?
Or is it just me?
This month seems to have dragged on & on for me. It was my birthday at the beginning of Jan & feels like it was so long ago. All the days are just merging into one at the moment because I'm lacking normal routine this time around.
Glitterandgold happy belated birthday to you! Here's hoping the next month brings some normal routine for us all!
SAdeals Glitterandgold. Happy belated birthday to you, happy belated birthday to you ... (You have to imagine that I'm singing). Here's hoping that this new month brings good things for all of us.
Glitterandgold You're so kind. Thank you for your kind thoughts. Soooo cool that you are turning 40 this year! Here's hoping that you get out of lockdown in time for the party!
January felt like a whole year to me, so glad its over just hope this month isn't like that.
I feel January has dragged on a bit actually, and I'm kinda glad we're into a new month now.
Yes, it flew by for me also. Feels like Xmas was ages ago, although I did see a house with their Xmas tree and lights still up - anything to cheer themselves up indoors, I suppose
Yes flew for me too been back in work a month and it feels like I didnβt have Christmas off. At least the nights are beginning to get lighter too.
Yes, it has gone by in a 'Flash Ah Ah, saviour of the universe' sorry, I went off track then. But January has disappeared - and that just reminded me to 'pinch/punch' Mr T - I'm back now - he was unimpressed as I usually beat him and had forgotten until I read this, So February has started with a chuckle for me!
Yes this month went so fast, it will be Christmas again soon. Not.a bad thing though. My neighbours still has their tree up and still turns it on
Definitely not flown although good days did bad days seem like weeks. Really depends on how my kids feeling if they feel like Learning or fed up staying in and running mad
Definitely went by so fast, doesnβt seem long since christmas but i think all the days just roll together in lockdown
Yes definitely having trouble keeping up with which day it is. Printed Thursdays stuff for Tuesday last week caused problems
If has done both, days have dragged but weeks have flown by. I have to a number of monthly reports at the beginning of the month, for work and I feel as I only did them last week
You're so right, SAdeals! This month has seemed to run away very quickly indeed. I too am wondering where it has gone!
SAdeals If everyone who wants the vaccine has had the vaccine then majority of restrictions will have to be lifted or we have people vaccinated but still in lockdown
It does feel like January has flown by, although as time is what everyone is waiting to pass right now, it's just as well
I actually hope this whole year flies by so that we can see where we are with this Coronavirus, and how effective the vaccines are actually going to be.
Because I lose track of days I guess I blinked and January just came and went .TBH its really not been a great start to 2021 but I do live in hope .
stuartsmith544 I know what you mean. I'm also feeling the same as you. Let's hope thing's get better as the year progresses!
I felt it really dragged here to.
Usually I'd book up a cheeky little European City break to get over the post Christmas blues, can't even do that this year.
blacklabrador I guess most people try to book holidays to uplift the moods after Christmas. Its just not worth the risk at the moment!
SAdeals Nope, I learnt that last year, guess it's just a waiting game for everyone.
blacklabrador let's hope that once the lockdown lifts, the holiday prices fall so that we get some amazing deals
In my opinion, January just flew by. It seems like the 1st of january was just a few days ago.
Personally i think january for me atleast went really slowly, i dont know why but it just felt that way.
I can't believe how quick January has flown by either. Not sure whether its been down to working all the way through it or I'm just getting used to everyday morphing into the next one
