Do You Wear Jewellery Daily?
Ask a Question
Do you have any items of jewellery that you wear daily ?
What brands do you think are good for everyday wear ?
I have a gold ring on each ring except 2 on wedding ringer some are over 18 years old won’t wear anything else has to be gold and real
My wedding and engagement ring. Don't bother with other jewellery now, my son would just pull at it anyway.
The longest ever jewel I wore was a necklace and i think had it for 3 years that's it. I am not a fan of jewellery with some unknown reasons.
Only a gold wedding ring that has never left my finger since the day I got married, many moons ago. I’m not even sure it could come off now without a lot of soap and tugging!
I wear a silver locket which my husband (then boyfriend) bought me for my 19th birthday and nearly 21 years later it's still there with 2 folded foil snowflakes my daughter put in there 13 years ago when she was 5. I also wear a watch, wedding ring, engagement ring, eternity ring, another ring and 10 earrings.
I have a diamond ring which I got off my parents for my 21st birthday which I haven’t taken off since, so had it on for 5 years
A watch, but I take it off, and it's not necessarily the same one that goes on the next day! So not really
I wear most days: my mums engagement ring. A pandora ring given to me on my last bday from my sons. Solid gold mum ring also from my sons & a silver heart necklace my mum gave to me on our last xmas together before she passed away, my sister has the identical necklace too. All sentimental pieces.
Just my wedding and engagement rings. They aren't a brand, they were made at a local family-run jewellery shop.
No and no
Rings will change shape if u wear them a lot and leave a mark on your finger.
Also the air destroys most of the metals, so it will change in look.
And some workplace do not allow any...and better not wear it. Once I got stuck in a draw in my workplace because of my ring...
Not anymore. I used to wear my wedding and engagement ring all the time but my engagement ring is weak. Its white gold and the underside of band is quite thin, ive had 2 splits repaired already but i can see 3 more cracks in it - took it to be repaired and they said theres nothing they can do as it will keep breaking because white gold is brittle. Now i only wear them on special occasions if im going somewhere. My wife said i can have new ones but its not the same as the actual ones you were given at the time is it
Can't honestly say I have never worn jewellery but only if I go out socially, which is rarely. I own hardly any and the rings I had when married I passed on to my granddaughter on her 16th 18th and 21st birthdays, she treasures them.
I have never hankered after jewellery, furs (when allowed) or designer clothes etc. None of that stuff enriches my life and I have never felt deprived.
