Are John Lewis Still Good with Customer Care?

Ask a Question

I recall there was a time they were at the top when it came to customer care and customer satisfaction. However, over the years it does seem like they seem less good, to the point where I no longer think I want to get my electronics with them as I might get better care with Amazon

I have always had fantastic service from amazon with parcel going a miss or even faulty item

Same here. You’d think they’d be bad with the sheer volume of deliveries and orders, and the stories of how bad the staff are treated. However, they’ve been fab and sort out all issues quickly. One of the reasons why I don’t but from eBay, as I’ve had the worst experience with them

John Lewis are very good with customer care and it’s still worth buying electrical goods from them because they often offer longer guarantees.

They usually do, but I heard from friends their not so great experiences recently with phones and tech goods, so it sounds like john Lewis is going downhill

hspexy Sign of the times all retailers seem to have gone downhill with customer service, John Lewis although I don't find them as good as they used to be , are still generally better than a lot of others and they offer 2 year warranties on a lot of electrical goods. Even Amazon who were once great has lost the plot where it comes to customer service these days , and their prices are steadily increasing also.

Mango4 yes, I imagine they are paying less attention to such details as we are living in a world where it’s quantity over quality these days. I don’t quibble too much over amazon prices, as I tend to only be spending vouchers with them

Always find the staff at John Lewis helpful and any after service I can not fault.

I find that they’re great in person, but anything dealt with online in recent times is rubbish, not as good as it used to be. Just as well as the nearest one isn’t that far away, so I usually choose to deal with them face to face
