Jokey Valentines Day Card That Should Be Banned?

In the News

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2021/02/09/valentines-day-cards-make-light-stalking-should-removed-police/

It has been reported that the police have stated their concerns over Valentine's Day cards which make light of stalking, and thus should be removed

Do you buy these kind of cards? Have you ever received one of these kind of cards? Should they be removed?

I think the police are right. Let’s be honest men and women are guilty of stalking it’s certainly not something to laugh about.

Obviously just a joke, IMO nothing sinister, inappropriate or threatening about it. Perhaps the individual officer (not THE police) who thinks otherwise should divert his attentions to the millions of people who, as tradidition dictates, send Valentines cards anonymously.

(I'm joking about that last part)😀

I can see both sides of this its its obviously a joke but a slightly creepy bad one.

I would not buy one like that, but don't really bother with valentine's day really we occasionally buy each other something small

I can see it from both sides myself, i wouldn’t personally buy it but i also wouldn’t have a problem with it if from my OH. But if it was sent anonymously then it would be quite a thought receiving it

No I don't. If you don't like something then just don't buy it.

not sure about getting such cards myself, but I am sure if it is unpopular enough, the people who made them wouldn't print them again

Yes, that’s usually what happens. If something is unpopular, you won’t see much of it again

hspexy that is usually true, although some times the bad stuff never goes away and resurfaces now and again

I can see that its meant as a joke but it is bad taste. Whoever has produced them and whoever is selling should have thought twice about it
