Blue Horizon by Wilbur Smith.

It is part of a series of books about the Courtney family by one of my favourite authors.

gerrykelly25 If you do, start with Birds of Prey as I think Blue Horizon is the 3rd/4th. Be warned it is the sort of book you can't put down but some very gruesome bits.

Lol it was a toss up between that and Pimpernel but I tried reading Letter once and didn't get past first few pages, so obviously not as clever as I thought I was! 🤔🤓

Lynibis Snap! I even waited a while to let someone in, between us, 😆 Hard to believe the book was banned more than a couple of times since it was written as it seems tame now. In this case the film was definitely better than the book.

It's surprising how many come to mind when you start thinking, surprised no one has mentioned 50 Shades of Grey gerrykelly25

beccatavender 50 Shades of Grey was the second mentioned (by Anne1984).

May I mention that becauses of the 😀 you put before gerrykelly25 he/she wouldn't have been tagged, tags require a space before and after them to be active. This will fetch it to his/her attention😀

beccatavender Don't worry about it, it can be difficult to remember what has been mentioned before. It gave me chance to mention that common mistake (not leaving space either side of tag) some others might be grateful for.😀
