Just for Fun, What Do You Do on a Sunday?
Ask a Question
For me, it use to be being a football mum running my son to football matches, then time to chill at home and end with a roast dinner. Usually catch up with my ironing in the evening. Now my children are a older it's them laying in , and me up and about still .
Lazy day generally.
Late breakfast, followed by a nice little walk with the dogs somewhere quiet.
Then watch some sort of sport and enjoy a Roast dinner or barbecue.
Usually watch a film with pringles but too sad today laptop has been glacial now wont even turn on
As some of you may already know I have just purchased a caravan so now my days are filled buying extras for it and getting ready for our new adventure. I have three older adult children at home and there are quite capable of looking after the home while we are away.
As much as possible I visit family or they visit me but if not, it is a good day to catch up with housework and then relax with a meal and tv/film in the evening.
I work on a Sunday so it’s the same as other days for me. I can’t remember the last time I wasn’t working on a Sunday.
Do something with the kids like bootsale hunting, beach, picnic, go to a woods we've not been to. Then rush about in the evening making lunches, ironing uniform etc
We do the same as most days i.e. making sure that the garden & veg patch are up to scratch. Harvesting at this time of year and freezing lots of fruit & veg. HELP! With such a bumper crop this year I need another freezer!
Last Sunday we meet some friends in my daughters pub and had a lovely meal and a long afternoon catching up.
The kids usually go and see the grandparents. So I clean the house while everyone has gone out .
