Keep Getting Calls from 8009178132 Which Last 1-2 Secs

What's with this number? Is it real or a scam? I can't even get to the phone before it goes off again and again.
Thinking I may block this number as this is quite annoying.
It's apparently a scam pretending to be American Express and/or Barclaycard.
I always block cold callers, recorded messages, etc after I've hung up on them. The most common type I get is the 'I hear you've been in an accident' calls.
If you get any random calls you can check if the numbers a scam on google then block them on your phone. Just put the number in to google and search it. I’ve found this very handy aseveral times.
Most random calls these days are irrelevant. I usually let it ring out, and if they were relev they’d usually leave a message. I always google the numbers to check also, and you can warn others about it too
