Keeping Fit Indoors?
Ask a Question
Are you finding ways to keep fit indoors? It could be anything from doing yoga, jogging on the spot, doing workout videos, using the gym equipment, or just obsessively cleaning everything...
Yes i find it great to follow simple workout videos from youtube and find it great i can workout at home as my gym currently closed.
I’ve loads of equipment to use, and even those normal everyday items can be used as gym equipment (so all those people with loads of canned goods can use them as cheap dumbbells!). I prefer doing stuff outdoors more
I'm keeping fit outdoors by weeding, digging, carrying pots and bags of compost and my garden is so long it is a walk in itself just to go up and down it with my wheelbarrow. I look like a proper farmer now with my wellies and wheelbarrow.
I do beachbody workouts,a lot of cardio&weights..been doing them since my boy was a toddler.
Les Mills is another good streaming fitness option. There's several fitness videos on prime too or youtube x
I never go to the gym so theres going to be no difficulty there for me, iv always kept fit at home by doing keep fit videos off youtube anyways. Theres plenty available for a varie of interests
I swim a couple of times a week but the club has obviously shut for the time being and I'm really missing it! I'm finding it really difficult to get involved in the 'sweaty' exercise but I'm going to try and burn some calories.
I'm a regular swimmer too I don't think they've actually closed my local pool, because I haven't been for a few weeks because of a chest infection. I miss swimming too.
Sometimes I struggle to go to gym so I go on YouTube and watch the body coach tv and is very effective and helpful
I didn't know watching did any good (must try it) I'd always thought you had to copy what they're doing.
I practice yoga every day at home from an app on my ipad. It saves money, keeps me fit and works on my core strength and balance.
I also have a fitness tracker to monitor my steps; 24.4K yesterday!
I try to get out of the house for a walk for 30 minutes, be mindful of social distancing of course. As the weather improves I will try and spend more time in the garden. I have done a little over the last two days but it is still a little nippy out there.
Xx
