I wish someone could play the hot/cold game so that I can easily find the missing book. It should be somewhere in the house but couldn't find it.
Its one of those things, that will turn up when you aren't looking for it!! good luck finding it :-)
If it's due to be returned and you want to avoid a fine, many libraries will allow you to renew by 'phone, that will give you more time to hopefully find it.

I've not had a book from a library for many years. I always want to keep books so buy them.
Out of curiosity I checked online for fines at libraries in my area, they are: Overdue charge for adults: 14p per day /Overdue charge for children and over 60s: 9p per day/ Renewal charge: free per 3 weeks.
