Do You Know Any of the Benefits of Using Activated Charcoal?

Ask a Question

Here's just 5 reasons we should be using activated charcoal :

  1. Teeth whitening.
  2. For its anti-aging properties.
  3. To clean wounds and reduce itchiness from bites and stings.
  4. For banishing oily skin.
  5. Preventing bloating and alleviate gas.

Have you ever tried using some form of activated charcoal before?

I use it for my teeth.. I do use it alongside my toothpaste,as my teeth don't feel all that clean with just the charcoal, will look into the anti aging benefits x

nina090976 I've recently got the stuff for my teeth but not tried it yet. Is it normal to use normal toothpaste straight after?😬

I prefer deactivated charcoal , it costs less and lasts longer , well until you activate it at least . It stops unwanted smells erupting from my rotty , rotty not botty !! Image

I've used products containing charcoal. It turned my face cloth black unfortunately but otherwise liked all products I tried

Yes I’ve used it previously - moisturiser, masks, toothpaste, face wash, konjac sponge...it’s quite common to find it out in east asia

(Apparently it stops toxins from being absorbed into the bloodstream)

SarahBenne67061 yes I read about that. It's used to treat overdoses to stop toxins getting into the bloodstream. Has to be done within a particular time period as you can imagine!

I occasionally buy drinks containing activated charcoal from health food shops. Although, it would be cheaper to buy activated charcoal powder and make it myself.

I use it when I get a spot, it reduces it to almost nothing over night, it saves me a lot of hassle trying to cover it with concealer the next morning
