Who Still Has a Landline Phone?
Ask a Question
Do you still use a landline phone or are you 100% using your mobile for all calls. I remember the old days when the phone rang it was so exciting but now so many people let it go to answer. Do you let it go to answer even if you know who it is?
We still have a landline rarely use it though,I had to get sky shield as we were getting a lot of nuisance/scammer calls. It's just to speak to family overseas to be honest&for companies/people we don'tgive our mobile numbers to x
I don’t really see the point of them if you have a mobile bailable to use. We pay for line rental for broadband and get given a landline number but we don’t own a house phone!
Moved into my current house about 5 years ago, never had a landline. Although I have a number, never used it or handed it to anyone.
We have a landline phone but very rarely use it to make calls, The calls we get are few & far between too. I tend to just let calls on it go to answer machine, which I rarely check. Figure if it's someone important they'll have my mobile number anyways.
I've never had a landline. People who know me can reach me on my mobile. No nuisance calls.
I haven't had a landline for about 7 years or so and it makes me mad I still have to pay for the line rental when, once installed, it doesn't cost the provider anything. Almost every home paying between £25 and £30 per month for broadband is a rip off. That is where the authorities should step in to stop inflated prices Getsome
By authorities do you mean the conservative government then they would never reduces prices are they are billionaires!
Only reason I have a landline connection is for the internet, never actually use the phone anymore, always use mobiles for calls now
I haven't had a landline phone for a number of years. I decided not to set one up when I moved into my current place. I haven't missed having one
I have a land line its only plugged in for emergency or to give the cold callers a good scream at or to make a call whice is free but not on mobile.
We have a landline phone only because it is part of our Virgin Media package and it turns out cheaper as opposed to not having one at all. We hardly ever use it though.
We have a land-line but never use it everyone at home uses there phone and even when the land-line rings no one answers it because they say if it was for them they would get a call on there mobile
I just u.se it for the Internet. No one has the number though but when I get an office I may have one for backup as our mobile signal on every Network is so poor.
