Last Movie You've Seen

I watched Death Wish (2018) last week and really enjoyed it a lot, loved the action and comedy but yeah, Bruce Willis was no Charles Bronson though did that bother me? Not at all.
The critics have kind of ruined the movie with their low score reviews and that's a damn shame. I intend on viewing Ready Player One despite that critics also disliked this too, but not as much as they did with DW2018.
Websites should value more the opinions of normal users than nitpicky, snob critics who can never be happy.
I really enjoyed The Greatest Showman a couple of weeks back, despite not really being into musicals.
Also, Coco from Pixar is a lovely watch.
I only tend to use critics reviews as a very loose guide, but if 4 or 5 of them all pan a film then I do start to wonder.
I saw Ready Player One recently and very much enjoyed all the video game references Was a decent film (I've never read the book it's based on) but was most impressed by the visuals - the CGI was incredible!
"Dear Dictator" watching it and it's a pretty entertaining movie so I don't get the low score critics gave it. Whatever.
Ready Player One was awesssssome I thought. Defo didn't deserve the low ratings! Ultimate movie for gaming fans! Hope they make more like them.
Not seen DW yet, trying to finish Monkey King on Netflix and Cobra Kai on Showbox!
I watched Deadpool 2. I preferred Deadpool as the soundtrack was fantastic and I may be a little in with Francis but it was really enjoyable, lots of laughs and worth seeing. Loved the little extras when the credits were rolling!
Saw today 'The 15:17 to Paris' another one with a low score (IMDb 5/10 and 25% on RT) but I enjoyed it.
I watched "Deadpool 2" the other day, it was really good but the first still feels to be way better of a comedic Deadpool movie.
Terry Crews was in it for a moment and then bam, gone the next.
The last movie I've seen today was Peter Rabbit but the one that I recently watched and enjoyed was Manchester by the sea, and Man down, I think this film didn't had a great reviews but I loved it and I thought it was amazing. Actually both of those film hit me hard!
Just flicked on the tv last night and The Goodfellas was on! Have never seen it before but I enjoyed it
they don’t make films like they used to
cant say I pay too much attention to the critics - even if they slate something, I’d still watch it if I think the plot is decent
Just watched eddie the egale. Very good and funny. And the other one i watched was it. The clowen that go around killing people. Glade i was not on my own to watch it.
Watched Open Range this afternoon and while the movie was a bit tedious from its start to half, after that it became really interesting. I don't wanna spoil anything if anyone here intends on watching it too.
A lot people are always on about 4K Blu-rays this, 4K Blu-rays that but I'm fine with DVDs.
Sex Tape was on TV yesterday and I thought, why not since it's on right now. What a mistake that was.
The entire movie was a painful ad for Apple's iPad. iPad this, iPad that, iPad, iPad, iPad.. Heck, you could even make a drinking game out of this and you'd get knocked out. lol
DannyA What a quiet place or jurassic nonsense? - glad i didnt pay to see it at the cinema it was just another load of CGI with no story - pretty gory stuff as well not nice for wee kids to watch!
Sheez the cinema is dying if they keep making rubbish like this - i mean if you just pick up a copy of 200AD , Starlord or Tornado from the 80's there are zillions of great stories - ie BLACKHAWK, WOLIFE SMITH , PLANET OF THE DAMNED, FIENDS OF THE RUSSIAN FRONT, MELTDOWN MAN and more...
Would love to see PLANET OF THE DAMNED made into a movie it would rock!
"The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" is a masterpiece of Western movies so if you enjoy cowboy films, you outta watch this if you haven't already. This is s movie worth watching again, again and again!
An other one is "Unforgivable" by Clint Eastwood too.
These are three fantastic classics but the obvious one that most know is Breakfast at Tiffany's. Aw, Audrey Hepburn you left too soon.
The last movie I watched was the new it. That clown penny wise was so creepy. When I went to bed that night it give night mare never watch it again.
I fancy seeing this, is it worth seeing at the cinema or is it a see eventually type movie? If that makes sense! Thanks
FInished 'Tomb Raider' today as I had it on 'pause' since a few days ago as it made me fall asleep. The movie is a tad boring but I really enjoyed Alicia Vikander's performance.
Funny thing is that she's Swedish but a brunette rather than a blonde like Swedes are. Also, according to her Wikipedia page she moved out of London where she lived before and good thing she did!
Shoot. That doesn't sound good, the original The Incredibles was truly, as the title indicates, incredible.
When watching, I'll still hope for the best but most sequels fail to be on the same level or better than the first flick of the series. The Terminator 2 is undeniably the best sequel film ever produced.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom
Not as good as the last! Still enjoyed it though. My fave is the first Jurassic Park (1993).
Really wanting to see Hereditary!!
The last movie i saw was Ocean's 8 in cinema. Loved the film. Comedy aspect was hilarious and the con they pulled off was smart. Had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. Would definitley recommend you go see.
You're talking about the recent female rehash of Ocean's 8 or was it the original on exhibition? Bit confusing because movie studios don't even make any distinction on the titles.
Same thing happened with the trainwreck of Paul Feig's female Ghostbusters.
'A Perfect World' this is a flick that I keep coming back to, just that damn good to rewatch again and again. Kevin Costner, Clint Eastwood and the kid make up for a solid movie.
Saw Ready Player One today. Not quite what I expected, mostly an animated movie and not as good as the trailer made it seem.
Definitely no Back to the Future or Terminator 2, in terms of spectacular movies.
Tag (2018)
But maybe I shouldn't say I've actually seen it, I gave up about 20-30mins in because it was such a pile of garbage.
This review says it all:
The last movie I saw was Mission Impossible: Fallout, at the cinema. I was on the edge of my seat and by the end my newly grown nails were all bitten off. I wanted to see Sean Harris as I had seen him in The Borgias and he was so good. He didn't disappoint but his screen time was not enough. Prior to that I had been to see Mama Mia, Here We Go Again, it too was excellent. Two very different films but I would rate both a 9/10.
Most comments seem to have cited favourites and that is another story, Gladiator, Bridge of Spies, Legends of the Fall, too many to list. However, give me a good boxset and I am happy as Larry!
Watched 'The Week Of' starring Adam Sandler and Chris Rock. What a mess of a movie without any consistency, even Chris Rock couldn't salvage it.
Seen 'The Meg'. Watchable flick but nothing great, kinda like Jaws but inferior and it did not help the DJ character/actor played such an annoying character in an attempt to be funny. I guess he's a comedian but he's even less funny than Adam Sandler to me.
