Do you think using LD has made you spend more or do you just use it when looking for particular thing/deal? Has made me shop more but even with factoring that in my savings are far outweighing my spends and I have nicer things! what about you all?
I have been a member for over two years and have only bought 1 thing from the deal section. I never buy things just because I have browsed and see something I like, only stuff I feel I need. I look here first to see if it is on a deal but usually order through Amazon anyway and find the best value myself.
I use the site mainly for competitions and chat.

Lol, I think a lot of it is to do with age OneeyedRaven. Over the years I have accumulated everything I need for the home, I buy clothes as and when needed and I seem to do alternate weeks online/in person grocery shopping.
I also have very generous family who buy me gift cards. Sometimes they sit in my purse for months as I can't think of anything to spend them on!
It's made be spend on things I'd not normally spend on for sure, but mostly as presents, so it's saved me money because I've not bought more expensive stuff in a panic. I tend to be very organised with gifts now, because I buy when there's deals to be had!
MeestairChrees yes this is what i mainly use it for my family will be getting more high quality presents as a result and that makes me feel good - no last min panic scrumming for the not so perfect gift
there have been plenty of impulse buys via this site - sometimes you just dont know how much you need something until someone shows you it at a decent price! I am the same when I come to doing the weekly tesco online shop - stick to the main shopping list for what I need and then check the offers - its a great way to discover new products!
I do tend to browse this site and have made several purchases after seeing things listed. However I have impulsed buys too, some peacock feathers just because they were unusual but I’ve no idea what to do with them haha.
I like to hunt deals....it kind of moves my mind from other things.
Not buying a lot of things, just the best of the best deals and it makes me spend less.
