Learning to Walk
Other
So about 2 weeks ago our son learnt how to crawl and yesterday he learnt how to pull himself up into a standing position. After everything he has been through I'm one proud mummy!
He is going to be walking before I know it! Is there anyway to help encourage him, apart from the usual ones that I've read about.
He will be one on Sunday so I know its early for him to be walking but just want to give him as much help as possible.
All mine apart from one was walking before first birthday 3rd child walked around on knees until nearly 3 i bought one of them reins with handle above child to hold them up
I don't think it will be long after he is one before he starts. If his dad or I are holding onto his hands then he can take a few shaky steps forward. Never thought about getting him reins, he is so independent he might think they are holding him back! I will look into it, thanks.
That's amazing, such a proud moment. Its probably what you've heard before but barefeet is best, give him chance to cruise around the furniture, and maybe a push a long walker.
