Strange, but our house is the same! I ate two Ferrero Rocher over the Christmas and pigged out on 10 mint matchmaker sticks - last night! I honestly can't explain it but we just didn't seem to want to eat chocolate this Christmas. I will probably have them in plain sight, all around the house, to encourage family and friends to pick at because the amount that is left makes me feel a little ill. 🤢 😂

We have had a good clear out of the Christmas Sweets, Chocolate and food, we took what we didn't think we would eat to the supermarket and put it in the food bank trolley.

Not sure why we actually bought so much in the first place but we always tend to go a bit overboard on stuff at Christmas

Mango4 What a really good idea - I am ashamed that I didn't even consider the food banks. I never think of chocs when I add things to the food bank bins in the supermarkets but why not?

angemski I often see Biscuits & Chocolate this time of the year in the food bank trolley in my local supermarket. Generally we donate a few tins, or a packet of cereal when we are shopping, but as we had excess Christmas products, dropped those into the trolley last weekend,

I take them to work and leave them for everyone to pick at through the day. Lots of people do this all year round, it's nice to have a sugar hit available when you're at work.

Just eat them whenever - they should last a while? Take them to work to share the burden of eating them...

Bag them up and put them away for a bit, be a nice surprise for the family when you bring them back out in a month or so as they will have been forgotten about.

There’s always someone we can give it to. I find that all the junk food goes down well with colleagues at work

Unfortunately, I have the opposite problem as all of my Christmas confectionery has now been consumed 😭

Ah, thank you ACR I was just starting to feel alone but chocolate left over after Christmas in a house of chocoholics, it just doesn't happen. You're more likely to hear 'who ate the chocolate orange?!' 😂

Make a cake and either use them as adornments or melt to make the ganache filling. Multiple flavours of chocolates should make interesting frosting.
