The Level of Unprofessionalism by 3 Pin Products

Other

I've read their Trustpilot Review Page and have reported them to Trustpilot because the way they treat customers is shockingly bad.

Here's an example:

Image

Links:

- Website: https://www.3pinproducts.com/index.php?route=common/home

- Trustpilot: https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/3pinproducts.com

Whether it's also a scam or not, that's a different matter. What matters is that they don't respect customers who leave 1 star reviews this is because they've paid for a product and haven't received what they paid for.

A company (if even it is) like this won't last long as they're hostile to customers. Just unacceptable.

I'm not familiar with the company, but that is a rude response. I'm sure it must be frustrating/annoying to get a 1 star review, but there are professional ways to respond and address it.

A few years ago something went wrong with an item I sold to a guy, I was always respectful, but he was nothing but disrespectful.

He left a negative review which was uncalled for and I discussed it with eBay and it was removed.

I can't even remember what was it about, just that it was a bad experience.

Well a company is hardly likely to applaud and thank anyone for leaving a bad review are they? You disliked a review given about an item you sold so much you got it removed so you can't really have it both ways.

Mocking and insulting customers is extremely unprofessional. Banks, retailers, labels, outlets, supermarkets all get 1 star reviews from time to time, but do you think they have a childish, immature behavior like 3PP do? No, they do not.

Accepting and normalizing behaviors like those cannot and should not be done.

Now, even if 3PP aren't scammers (folks on the "other" site say) they've already damaged their reputation as it is and their lack of respect for customers is visible.

PhilipMarc It seems like the T&C's and advice had already been outlined on their site, so buyers should have read it before buying.

People shouldn't leave 1 star reviews just because they didn't read the terms properly.

The reply is a bit rude, but you can understand their frustration.

And what is this 'other site' that you talk about? I know of no 'other site' 🤔

It looks like a very new company, given the fact it has only 150 reviews.I would be very wary too,in the sense new businesses(scammers)tend to pop up close to christmas,I see it on Facebook quite often,..a popular item is on sale(toy,cosmetics,clothing)..you receive the item&it's nothing like the item described.I hope you receive your item or at least be able to get your money back.

I do think it is very unprofessional. Any potential customers can read that and you hate to think that would be the level of customer service if there was an issue whilst using them!

The address they have on their website shows this on Google Maps:

That building society (in Kington) was being closed over 5 years ago - Google maps are not changed when that happens. https://www.herefordtimes.com/news/11655387.building-society-to-pull-out-of-kington/

How ironic:

"This is why we explain what the potential delivery times are for you decide if you wish to proceed. We take no responsibility for your failure to comprehend basic English."

One might conclude that because of the missing word "to" between "you" and "decide" the writer's comprehension of basic English isn't too clever either.😀

Yes definitely a scam, the good reviews are ALL fake, - check the times when their 'other' reviews were written. This 47 days delivery from ' warehouse 3' is a joke. This company will disappear in er..... about 47 days.

I got zipped for £609, not happy. Ok I can make a section 75 claim but I bet it takes months to get the compensation.

I feel really sorry for those people who have ordered Xmas presents, it's going to be a miserable Xmas for some children this year, thanks to Luka.

Scam. To help anyone who's been shafted, 3 Pin Products is owned by Luca Guerra, Tech Elite Ltd of 20b, High Street, Kington, England, HR5 3AX. You can report the fraud to the Action Fraud Police, and having a crime reference number will help in getting a refund from your bank.

Most customers go to company to get better results before reviewing on trust pilot so imagine how bad customer service was

He has no shame. Scammed people, keeps on taking down reviews at Trustpilot and terminates another fraudulent business.

Only a matter of time before he starts another website where he scams more people.

It looks that I am also in the same boat as I bought the iPhone for my daughter as a gift. I communicated with 3PinProducts through email to see the availability of the item. They confirmed and convinced me to place an order soonest, so I could avoid the stock last issues and get it on time. However, I paid and they sent me the invoice and confirmation of my order that it will take 28 Business days to deliver because it has to ship from Warehouse 3 (Malaysia). I had an argument with them, why you have not informed me earlier that you do not have stock in the UK despite pushing me to place an order to avoid stock last issue. I got a similar response from them saying that I have to read the Terms that order can be ship from any of 3 Warehouses. As per the order, the delivery date is 15 Dec. I am hoping to get the item on time… I am also worried now after seeing these posts here. I’ll also let you know whatever the outcome will be… Anyone has any idea… What to do now?

You were trapped into a scam.

What you can do is contact your bank and ask for a charge back while explaining your situation.

Even Luca Guerra's 3PP Trustpilot page is no longer accessible for people to write reviews since he shut down the website. It's frustrating that he got away with it and nothing happened to him (either be sued or arrested).

Anyway, Trustpilot isn't a credible source for genuine reviews. I posted my last one for Trustpilot themselves and that was it.

If I worked for Trustpilot, I would just quit it because they're so unreliable. I did that for Selfridges.

I'm not going to say what a manager of theirs did nor what an employee did, but both were deplorable. Even more so it was at a kids section.

Everyone owed money from this cheat should get in touch with Companies House to ask for a refusal of the company being dissolved...I’ve already sent an email, but will send another... We need to ALL do this! As long as the company still exists, and legally right now it does, we can stop him transferring the cash from the business to himself! Even if he has already done it, we can try and have it reversed!

Action Fraud

Citizens Advice

Small Claims

Endole

Companies House

And.. the police?

Those are the options for customers who were robbed by Luca Guerra, and he's still active as part of Tech Elite Ltd though it may not be for much longer since he knows how much heat this scam brought up.

I wouldn't bother recommending Trustpilot either to contact or to leave reviews, they're just so unreliable and untrustworthy these days.

Someone made a fake company and with fake reviews, think either triggered Trustpilot? Nope, only after they were contacted (surprisingly).

Yes, he closed it down. I'd bet that whole "refunds" was just him pretending to care about those whom he scammed.

It used to display this:

On Trustpilot while the website was semi-active (with that message), he kept taking down reviews on Trustpilot so no one can say he had good intentions. Not to mention his sarcastic responses from way before.

I urge all who bought and lost money to this scammer , contact Companies house and lodge an objection to his company being allowed to close! If it closes he walks away with everything...if the request to close is denied he can be held responsible for the loss of customers money, and in particular transferring funds from the company into his own personal slush fund! Please CONTACT Companies House to lodge an objection...We can all make sure this creep pays!

I have also purchased from the company and I am waiting on the dispute outcome from my bank which ends in Feb the 10th. This is a very long wait so I also contacted Action Fraud, Citizen advice and contacted a company (which I forgot at the moment - they called me this morning), they said that if bank does not cover you they'd try to fight to get the money back but would only get 75% of it. So I told them I would wait till Feb and see the banks outcome.

Are these receipts the attempt of the company and terminated the business? and it has been rejected by the government? Where can these documents be found?

I paid by credit card so I was lucky to have done that, as useally I would have used my debit card. At the moment lloyds have said its a temporary transfer back, so have to wait 45 days to see if the company try and fight it and show proof etc of the item being sent.well we all no the answer as nothing was ever sent out. I hope you get your money back just a pain such a long wait@cahmah

Well, make sure you have the exact information from the purchase (amount, date, and so on), explain to him/her that you were scammed and want a charge back to recover your money.

Some extra info you may find useful:

Tech Elite Ltd is owned by Luca Guerra, whom ran a previous scam website known as "UK Spec Tech" and now as "3 Pin Products" (well, until he was exposed).

This screenshot of 3PP website might also be helpful:
