Season 6 will be aired in March plus a new DC, can't wait to find out if they capture H or if I was right on who H is !
I personally love crime programmes, these are the only things my husband and I watch together. Currently watching Spiral on BBC Iplayer, it's a French Crime drama, subtitles so needs to be good to keep your attention.
beccatavender My missus and I are the same, most of the time on on PC or laptop but we do watch most of the crime shows together, I'm not good with subtitles, so I'll give Spiral a miss.
beccatavender we are watching Spiral too. Currently watching the old ones again before the new series, which I think will be the last. The subtitles keep my husband awake.
We only discovered it recently, but are up to series 6, like you said you have to pay attention with subtittles, no checking emails or phones

Was about to start a thread on this but I was a good girl and checked first!
I am currently re-watching all the previous series ahead of the new one starting soon.
I am near end of series 3 and loving it all over again, got so much more from second viewing that I missed first time.
Jed Mercurio must be one of the best tv writers around and I was not surprised to find he also wrote Strike Back, another of my favourites.
Most of you will know that I find it hard to watch anything that is set after about early 1900s so if I enjoy this then it must be good, knocks spots off other police dramas.
We loved this programme, the writing and acting was so good. As we watch so much crime, like you, it has to be good to keep our attention
We have just re-watched all the old ones ready for the new series. Best programme on TV for years. Surely no one would call themselves H if their name really began with H.
We keep guessing who we think it is and coming up with theories, hoping they are going to recap on the last series.
If I remember correctly at the end of the last series they were putting forward that H may have been a building rather than a person. I must admit that the last series confused me a little.
I think they wanted to keep us interested, as we kept changing our minds who or what H was
I have just rewatched all the episodes ahead of series6. I love it! Noticed so many more twists and turns second time round too!
I hate watching things again when I remember the storyline and like you said they are very memorable

I can’t wait for Sunday. This is a brilliant series with great actors. I love a good police procedural!
