On Line Poundland Want to Change Me £12.99 for P&p

Other

I've been using on line poundland now for a year. And it's all ways been £4.95 for p&p. But what a shock I got to night when I put in a ordered and they asked for £12.95 for p&p. When I looked they have change the p&p. They say I live on the islands. Which I do not. I live in the highlands which is still on the main land. So I will not be buying from them again. . It's all wrong other places do between £3.95 to £4.95 or it's free. P&p. How you had trouble with company's with there p&p. 😲😲😲😲😲

I suppose "Islands" and "Highlands" do sound almost the same. It's crazy if that's what caused it. Did Amazon charge you p&p for the sleeping bags you ordered? And have they arrived yet? I wasn't charged and mine arrived yesterday.

They're very good but it was a bit troublesome converting from the double, as they arrived, to the two singles. If you have any problems; just swear, it doesn't help much, but it makes you feel better.☺

Hi davidstockport. No I did not have to pay p&p from Amazon it was free. My sleeping bag should be here to day. Let you know. I did not go head with the ordered. It's all wrong that they can charge that amount. 🤗🤗

nicolajaynehend I wouldn't have bought from them either.

The sleeping bags are very good and the large and small carrying bags that are included are good too. They are somewhat confusing to separate then rejoin as two singles - just like if you ever got frustrated with a Rubik's Cube, you take heart from knowing IT CAN BE DONE!

What has sometimes annoyed me about p&p charges is where it's perhaps £2 for p&p up to £20, But free after £20. And the cost of the item is £19.99 - it's about the only time I've said I'm not buying unless they increase the price by two pence. (Which saves me £1.98).

Not many people haggle the price UPWARDS. ☺

Hi davidstockport I now what you mean. I've had that happen to me. If you buy from China it's free p&p. And it's a lot far away . I just don't get it at all. It needs a big shake up. 🤗🤗

nicolajaynehend Both the things I was waiting for from China (free p&p) arrived a day apart last week, I'd had some problems with things not arriving, but although delivery has slowed down things are getting through.

Hi davidstockport I've got a lot of things coming from China and Amazon has said it's running late. Not sure why. But it will get here. 🤗🤗

When I lived in the Highlands I used to have that problem too. I got charged more for delivery. I only lived about 15 miles outside of Inverness! It is shocking that companies think they can charge so much. The Highlands is on the main land!
