Best places to get reduced food is big supermarkets after 7pm.....than you can get yellow sticker products. Most of the vegetables can be freeze...ALDI and LIDL are very cheap, perfect foods for packed lunch, you can get ingredients and make sandwiches and put some fruit on the side..

Where can you get help? Local community groups usually help to each other with anything, like food, clothes, they have free classes too.
I do make meals from meals> the best is making bolognese and next day use it to make pizza. From roasted meat you can make wrap next day or sandwich.
