How is Lockdown2 Going to Affect You
In the News
We are going on holiday to the New forest tomorrow and have to come home on Wednesday rather than staying until Friday. But at least we can get away for a few days.
Anyone else had plans scuppered?
I hate to say this, the U.K. population have already given up their freedom and safety as the government rules over when they can and can't leave their houses and whatnot.
Ben Franklin was right and he's been dead for a very long time. George Carlin would be furious if he were alive.
I don't think it's going to effect me much as I'd not really come out of lockdown 1. I am still working from home so that stays the same. I suppose going back to purely online ordering is the biggest. (I was shielding before and I know you don't necessarily need to again but I'd rather play safe). Others will have it far worse than me
I don't think it's going to affect me too much. Even after the first lockdown ended, I didn't go back to doing the things I used to do. I knew a second wave was likely, so I continued to only go out when necessary for shopping and banking and stuff like that. I haven't made any plans for holidays, or to visit friends like I usually would this time of year as things are just too unpredictable.
I'm not that bothered about the lockdown, my life and lots of peoples have been put on hold this year so I am used to it. Hopefully it will curb the spike and we all can have more freedom at Christmas
No affect as I work from home but it will affect my son as all the groups and activities will be closed
Will not affect me much. I just hope people will not get crazy and not leave empty shelves.
I'm not too bothered about it. I live in a small coastal town..so it will be lovely and quiet without all the tourists that invaded
It’s not really a lockdown is schools are open however my childrens high school will now have compulsory face masks which is good
I'm in Scotland so we aren't in a 2nd lockdown yet but it wouldn't affect me. I only go out once a week to do the food shopping. My husband is a teacher and all the senior pupils now have to wear face masks as it is compulsary, it should have been in place as soon as the schools reopened.
It's not affecting me as I wfh and have carried on ordering groceries online, and didn't go to pubs and restaurants since February
Nothing to do with freedoms , etc blah ,blah . We have been given advice , guidelines , rules , even laws ad infinitum over the past few months to keep us safe and avoid this .
Sadly the "freedom lovers ", totally misinformed mainly by the social media of their choice think they know better !
If a few more of our population had any common sense (and minds of their own ) then we could have avoided this .
Sadly many (particularly in the 18 -30s age group ) have continued to party , infect each other and take it home to Mum , Dad , Granny and Grandad . Refusing to take responsibility for their moronic actions and blaming it all on the Government .
