Do you ever feel lonely?
Ask a Question
It was Loneliness Awareness week, 14-18th week.
I know that sometimes I feel lonely and I don't feel like talking to someone on the phone or text. Being in lockdown has definitely highlighted this issue, working from home and not being to do normal social things.
Am I the only me one?
You are not definitely the only one. I used to be like that in the past even with a partner and working in an office but I feel less lonely now.
I the past I have always liked my own company and have never consciously felt lonely until the last few months, I think lockdown has definitely brought it home, I think working from home hasn't
helped
Have you tried a chat room?
I'm not quite sure what they're like these days, but I used to use AOL back in the day (no longer going), and MrsChimp PM'd me one day. We started talking and we're still together after 16 years
I do know what it's like to be lonely, you just need to get yourself out there (easily said than done though).
I wish you all the best.
beccatavender Oh dear
I don't know what to suggest then.
Fortunately, me and MrsChimp gas all the time when we're together.
Is there any reason why your hubby won't speak to you?
I think it's because I am depressed and he can't understand or cope with someone who is down. He is old school pull yourself together TheChimp
beccatavender Ah, I see.
MrsChimp is very good with me and the Valium certainly help if I'm super poorly.
