When waiting for a new one can I keep the Sainsbury's receipts and somehow get points added later?
If so would that be instore as in can I hand them over and they can add the points from the old receipts or would it be done online via chat or something?
Asking here on the off chance someone has been in the same position. Wanting the receipts registered not because of big spends but just to get my 8 visits this month for points bonus.
used to get customer services in store to add the points to my card when I produced the receipts, but I did hear they either stopped it, or there are limitations. Best check with their head office, as they'd be able to assist (had something similar happen with my M&S Sparks card, and head office sorted it, though it's considered a 'gesture of goodwill', so they're not obliged to do it)
Cheers, will see if I can find them little fobs you got when you got a card, I am sure I threw them in a drawer somehwere, can scan that when waiting for the new card. Just wondering if they change my card number too, which will be a pain as it is registered with loads of sites.
It's Brenna Mrs since I didn't use my actual physical card anymore. All you need is the digital version in an iPhone app to use when making games purchase. This way you'd never lose it too.
Last time I lost my Nectar card (rarely use it), think I called them and then they sent a new one.
Just to update, my card was waiting for me at my local store. I kept forgetting to ask them and gave up on my bonus that month, but about 2 weeks later I asked and the cashier said the name rings a bell as they do have a lost card kicking about and they were sure it was mine. He tannoyed through to the back and they brought it out, yup 'twas mine. Respect to them.
