Wow! You've opened a can of worms. You really need to search in the chat box and see how the last thread went, quite a few months ago. That doesn't mean you should have this topic just be warned...... Sad to say that it got nasty with name calling and insults, when the haters should have just scrolled on. (some people just can't help themselves)

I hate, hate, hate, hate it. When tv degenerates to such a level of promiscuity, vacuousness, lack of morality and downright stupidity then I fear for those growing up with that as their staple viewing.

I’ve not watched it religiously but sort of dipped in and out. Usually I’m a big fan and watch every night at 9 but this winter season just doesn’t feel the same x

I never saw the original thread. Never watched love island. Reality tv isn't my thing. Wow, things got heated here about it? That's bizarre. To me its wannabes and airheads in swimwear trying to get a tv career. Hmm. Strange that it would cause emotions in people. Completely unrelated; I just watched the 2 popes on netflix and feel moved by it. I'm not catholic and I'm not a fan of organised religion, but I can relate to those asking big questions of themselves and spirituality. That's more worthy of watching and thinking upon than love island in my opinion, but to those who get something out of watching it, great.

It was nominated for a bafta but lost out to Great British Bake Off. My faith in humanity has been restored lol.

It’s one of those programmes you say you won’t watch and when you change the channel you can’t help watching it lol

I dont watch it. It just doesn't appeal to me. I'm not interested in watching people 'getting it on' Never quite understood why you'd want to on the telly either. I'm not against reality tv, I was a big fan of Big Brother back in the day.

I was waiting for someone to start another love island thread, i wasnt going to do it after last time im watching it but must say it doesnt feel the same at this time of year.
