I love a roast dinner. I live on my own but I still have roast dinner. I love Yorkshire puddings. I can't make them they will not rise I do not know why they go in flat and come out flat. I love a bit of pork with the crackling and home made apple sauce. Do you still have a roast dinner. 
I too live alone Nicola, but always do a Sunday roast for any visitors. Usually roast chicken with all the trimmings. When I was a housewife with young kids i always made own yorkies that rose really high, but seem to have lost the knack so use aunt Bessie 's now. I like pulled pork which my sister does to perfection but I am not into crackling.
I love a good roast, but it’s a lot of effort to make, so we just go to the carvery and eat as much as we can there. Not a huge fan of Yorkshire pub, but I love stuffing and lots and lots of gravy...my food is usually swimming in it! 
never have chicken as a sunday dinner as we eat loads of it during the week so has to be either beef lamb or pork but sunday dinners are the best gott have all the trimings and dont 4get them brussels
