I've never had one luckily but I've heard they're unpleasant. Don't they make a horrible noise? Hope you're ok 🙂

I had one when my leg was injured. Luckily just my leg needed to go into the noisy machine. They put weight on my injured leg, so I was in pain, was not nice. I can not imagine to be in the machine for hours.

I had an MRI scan about 6 years ago when I undertook a paid study. It was really interesting as they gave me a CD of the scan, so I could see everything that was going on internally...well, everything that comes up on an MRI scan. I was a bit strange at first, but its like getting into a pod in one of those capsule hotels

jojowane67 lol I guess it’s not meant to be enjoyable - most people only end up in it when there are medical reasons for it. I hope your ok - nothing serious, I hope

Oh no! I hope they sort it out for you soon. I guess they need the MRI to work out the best procedure for you, as it’s a delicate area. Get well soon x

Firstly, I wish you a speedy recovery. Secondly, I had an MRI scan 2 weeks ago and I was surprised how easy it all was. I took an eye mask with me so I did see myself disappearing into the tunnel. Once you get over the cacophonous noise it makes, it really was fine. 15 minutes of staying still, I felt like I was in some kind of weird 2001: A space Odyssey Adele disco. Quite bizarre, but not half as bad as I thought it was going to be. The worst bit now is waiting for the results.
